Full operation of the RFID solution involves four pieces of equipment. The first is the antenna required for emitting the radio signal that activates the tag, in order to read and write the data. The next is the reader responsible for converting the radio waves reflected from smart tags into data, which will be sent to the systems. It is important to note that the collector is also able to capture data from the tags, and can be applied with more mobility because of its built-in antenna and reader. Finally, a printer is required for printing the label and coding the data on the chip.
